About the Wedding
Over three days in Melbourne's Yarra Valley, I had the privilege of photographing a beautifully intimate Indian wedding.
Sangeet: The first evening unfolded indoors, with lively music and vibrant dance. Guests adorned in colorful saris and sherwanis filled the space, and I captured joyful, candid moments under the warm glow of the indoor lighting.
Haldi: The second day commenced with the haldi ceremony, held outdoors in the morning, where the bride and groom were lovingly anointed with turmeric by close family.
Ceremony: As evening approached, the backyard was transformed for the sunset ceremony. The bride's red.
Reception: The final day concluded with an indoor reception. The room was elegantly illuminated, and as the newlyweds shared their first dance, the atmosphere was filled with warmth and celebration, bringing their wedding to a perfect close.
